We are a laboratory of the Pharmacy Department of FCF/USP
dedicated to establishing collaborations with companies interested in absorbing the knowledge generated at the university and using it to leverage their business, developing new products and improving their processes. To this end, we work with people who are committed to constant learning.

OUR HISTORY
The initiative to create a laboratory aimed at working with companies in the pharmaceutical sector dates back to 1993, when Humberto Gomes Ferraz began his career as a professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of São Paulo.
1997
In 2001, an important and fruitful partnership with Biolab Sanus Farmacêutica Ltda began, which, years later, would give rise to the Vonau Flash ® product.
1993
After completing his doctorate, Prof. Humberto intensified his interaction with the private sector, allowing him to build a diverse team of undergraduate, professional development, master's and doctoral students, in addition to investing in equipment and resources important for the growth of the laboratory.
2001
2003
Returning from his post-doctorate at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), Prof. Humberto began a series of projects with a larger volume of resources, which allowed him to expand his work, his team and, consequently, his line of research.
First training offered by Prof. Humberto's team to a pharmaceutical company through a service provision contract with USP. The theme was "Pre-Formulation".
2004

Creation of the first version of our logo, representing the release of multiparticulates from a tablet .
2017
First edition of the Training Course in Development of Solid Pharmaceutical Forms (CDSPF) for
professionals in the pharmaceutical industry.
As a result of this expansion and the hard work of Prof. Humberto and his students, the team, which until then shared space with other groups in the Pharmacotechnics Laboratory of Block 13 of FCF/USP , gained space in the Semi-Industrial Building, where Deinfar is located to this day.
In May 2009, the space was named Pharmaceutical Development and Innovation Laboratory, - Deinfar.
